my hubby took my car yeasterday told me he was going to see his friend and go to the bank. I was at home with 2 of my friends boys and my daughter. i got so much done and felt good about everything. He got home just as the boys were being picked up. Not thinking much about it he walked in with a bag he had told me he went to the toy store for our daughter who wanted Bash and Dash trains. about 30 min after he haded me a new iphone 4. i was so excited. i always am happy to get his old phone but i got the new one. Im so in love with my new phone it was a lot like my old iphone but its faster and i can do veideo now makes me one happy mama.

so we told my old phone and set it up as a ipod touch for our daughter who was so excited to have something as her own. she is 4

News from the Dr

Not sure who know what so here i go

in Jan 2010 i went to the Dr thinking i had something stuck in my throat. well after a not so very pleasant scope down my nose the dr didn't see a thing. So off to X-ray i went to get a a scan done. getting news from the dr from my scan was well there is something on your thyroid you now will have to see Dr Mincoff.
Uhh ok so i went and met with the new dr he told me that it was a nodule on my Thyroid. but it was too small for a biopsy. so we did a 3 month watch on it. in that 3 months it felt like i was being choked all the time no matter what i ate, drank or how i spent my day. It was so annoying it made me in a very rotten mood. after the 3 months i went back to see that it has not grown so that was good news right. so Dr Mincoff said we had to now wait 6 months. well in that 6 month time i didn't have the choking feeling. I was kinda normal feeling. didn't worry much about this thing any more.
in Dec i went in for my 6 month check up not thinking anything. I went in the Dr app with a huge smile on my face
The Dr found that it grew not a lot but now big enough to do a biopsy. Dr mincoff said we can do the biopsy now or we can wait. I told him im here right lets do it now. so we did. I made a few phone calls to let the hubby know whats going on. the Dr. came back in with his assistant. where she was on my right and he was on my left. he described what would happen.
"So what i am going to do is numb your neck a little then i will poke you with another needle to numb you some more then ill poke you again to get the byopsy from your thyroid."
as i sat there being poked thinking of the worse it was not that bad. its was not the best feeling either but it was not painful like having a baby or anything. The Dr had to poke me 3 times to find what he needed and finally he got it. told me 5-7 days he should have results.

7 days later of worrying and stressing that I wouldn't get to watch my daughter grow up i finally got the call.
"this is Dr. mincoff"
"good afternoon Dr"
"so well we got your results. and all that we found was Thyroid fluid. what that means if its anything its notting to worry about."
that being said my worried tummy settled down a little. i cried knowing i was ok and i would see my daughter grow a little more for now.
so im on a 6 month watch again so in june ish ill have to see him again to know if it grew or not. if it keeps growing we will hve to remove it or if it stops we keep an eye on it to know its ok.
It was very odd how we found it and if we never did that scan we would have never know. so always keep a close eye on your body no matter what.

The past week

Last Saturday i walked 6.25 miles for march of dimes and had a ton of fun. Haydn got her first face paint and she was a butterfly she had so much fun with Grandma, Mady, Janae and me. She even walked over a mile and did great.
Sunday i dont really know oh ya i slept in and then hay took a 3.5 hour nap i dont think i got out of my jamies
monday it rained i think i know it was part of last week it kinda sucked i didnt do much while it rained.
friday it was so sunny i went out side with hay we walked around the block her first time. she loved it. then we went to the park after nap. it was so pretty there. we ran in to some frineds and her husband was also out of town so we went out to dinner with 5 kids and the 2 of us. it was a lot of fun. I ended up at her house till 10 lol
saturday i did so much yard work it was so much fun. then we went to recycle some cans then went to the park they were having a fundrasier there then i ran in to a diffrent friend then ened up at her house for dinner lol
today we are having everyone over for dinner. well i didnt have to do anything but make brownies. yahooo

Well i have been bit buy the sewing bug lately. so first i finished a blanket for a friend who has been a 6 year surveyor from breast cancer

Then i made a tag blanket out of a quilt square that i made. i love how it turned out

Then i made hay her monster pants jamies. let me say she was so impressed that her mom made her something other then a blanket. it was really sweet the look i got from her.

I hope you enjoy all of my goodies. i sure had a ton of fun making all of it and plan on making more soon

Just stoping by to say hello. It was a blast at my crop i think i did good i got 36 cards done 4 one page layouts and an altered book for my aunt that was here. and she loved it.

Who ever said two were hard i think 3 are harder. Hay is a pain some days. she has a thing of not lestoning to what i tell her and dose what ever she wants. i understand she is a kid but ug. I dont ask for much from her a toy pick up every now and then and to hear me when i talk. other then that she is great she is a super fun kid to be around and i love it.
Bobby and i are good. bobby has been sick for 3 weeks now 2 rounds of antibyotiocs. and predsnone. nothing is working at this point. I hope soon

Our silly boy Tyson!!!

Meet Tyson he is our wonderful dog. I use to work at the animal shelter and while working Tyson cam in hurt and very sweet. He was used as pit bull bait and they thought it would be fun to fight tyson. Tyson had huge wounds on his left shoulder, foot and rear leg. Every day i would go in his cage to let him know he was loved. All he could do was be a total sweetie. After spending a lot of time with him i knew he would be great for our family. I was engaged at the time i had to talk to my soon to be hubby. He didn't like the idea. he said boxers drooled, and were nuts and just no. I talked to him every day. and finally i got Bobby to the shelter to meet tyson. it was love at first site. Bobby said you didn't say he was so good looking. Tyson came home with me as a foster to watch his wounds and such. Not long after he was family. We got Tyson April 2005 in Oct 2005 he was our ring bearer yup he was in out wedding and even in our pictures. When we adopted him he was about 3-4 years old. so almost 5 years later i have my sweet love that knows dad is alpha mom is the feeder and Hay is there to make him nuts. we love our Tyson and will miss him if anything happens to him. He is very sweet and tolorates a lot. like dress up and being pulls around the house or being ran in to by hays bike. but he always has a smile on his face and can be so goofy at times.

Haydn and and i went to a friends house to go let the kids play she has 4 kids 9 weeks to 5 and i have haydn. the kids play so well togeather and had a lot of fun. so much fun we didnt come home till 10. My dream was to have 4 kids. But the hubby said 2 so one more for us u never know something might change his mind someday.

Slick was my beloved Lizard who i ahve had for the last 15 years. he was beyond on a very awsome lizard. He would come when you call him and was all around a great guy. He went thrw high shcool with me and he also lived with my husband before i ever did. He let our daughter carry him around the hosue and was just the sweetest lizard there is out there. Slick you were a great pet thank you for all the wonderful years i had with you ill never forget them.

well bobby is gone for the week he is teaching the kids how to fight fires. What a sweetie for wanting to do it. I will get to visit him but its still not like being at home with him. he can be super busy down there. But as long as i get to see him im ok. so tonight i sewed some i love the fact haydn love me sewing its my first love. Scrapbooking is a lil easyer with a lil one around. ill have to post pic of the lil bean well she is pretty big and so much fun. She is pretty funny too. she worrys about her dog a lot and loves her kitties. my goal this week is to keep the house super clean. i hate cleaning but i dont want to worry about it. and ill try to post more here. i forget but i love reading others blosgs so i will try. starting tomarow ill put up a few new pics of my loves

Oct 23, 2005 I married my best friend. Since then a lot has hapen we have a wonderful lil girl have bought a house. i get to stay home to be a stay at home wife and mom. As much as i love being mom i just love being a wife. I really cant say why but there is just something about havin you husband by your side no matter what. There is wonderful feeling to know you always have some one to talk to no matter what. Even if you do have to wake him in the middle of the night. or he falls asleep while you are telling him something mindless. I will admit times do get lonley because of him working 48 hours at a time as a Fireman but the good thing is most days i have him for 4 days before he has to go back to work. Every now and then some shifts are so much harder then others. But i get my husband home a lot and i love that. So heres to us 3 wonderful years

My parents lost a golden ret this summer so i have been keeping my eye out for one for them. The begining of last week i had an email sayin 4 year old golden looking for a good home gets a long with other dogs, cats and kids. every thing my parents needed since we go over all the time with tyson our dog, and Haydn. I emaild the lady saying my parents were on there way home from a trip but i would forward the number. well i did and today the lady got a hold of my mom. my mom looked at the dog brought her home to see if the match would work with her dog. I get a phone call saying "Cristen this is your Kora it is it really is. and if its not she is just like your dog". i thought and said well my Kora is older then 4 and how would she end back up in our town. If we back up a lil i had to give Kora away to a recue group because my hubby didnt care for her and we dont have a yard really. So after looking at everything out there i found a rescue group in Sacremento many hundreds miles away from where we live.

Well my mom went and talked to the lady and found out she adoped 2 dogs Kora and Max from a family who got them from a golden retivier rescue. well when we gave Kora away we also gave her buddy Max to be her side kick because he is the one that could bring her out of her shell. well the lady told my parents she also had max but a friend fell in love with him so she gave him to her friend and now she had Kora left. So this was my Kora the dog i have had since she was born i was there when mom gave birth. She is home where she belongs the funny thing the other dog that we needed a friend for is her son how funny is that. I cant wait to see her if she know the house and my parents i wonder what she will do for me. i am beyond excited to see her again. i have always wonder where she was. But she is home whooooooooo

well its been some time since i have wrote anything down. Haydn is now 18 months old and running around getting in to everything. she is also afraid to sleep. Makes the days long for me. But there are the rewarding moments when she comes and hugs and kisses you just cuse and says love u in her own lil words.

Hay loves horses and calles them dogs. But she let us know they say getty up and neigh. Oh the wonderful joys of kids. well we went to grandma sheri and she has snicker and babe who haydn was just so inpressed to be able to pet them let alone sit on them. We didnt have the horses move because it would have freeked her out. she has never seen anyone ride one up close. She just gets excited to see them in feilds. its super cute to hear her yell dog dog neigh from the back seat. here are some pics

I know its been a while since i last wrote and i am sorry for that. i Have been busy with life. we all know how that goes. i have some pictures i need to share with all of you. some swap pics some pics of our family I just went to tahoe and got home today that was fun but missed the husband. so maybe tonight when the baby is sleeping i can share some things with all of you.

Ok my update is about house work and if i love it or now. i could say i do cuse my house is pretty clean most of the time. But im sure you want to know the gods honest truth. i HATE cleaning. there is nothing that i like about it. becides haveing a happy husband and thats the only reason i do it. Oh my i have fallen in love with my Cricut. i use that thing for everything. it comes in handy. My Cricut had made me feel more complete since i have goten it. Bobbys loves to show it off to its super cute it you ask me. He is way impressed on what it can do. i love the quanty button its awsome. press it and walk away sweeeet. I am also starting to love my stamps. I have very few of the clear stamps and just love them. Ok i confess i love all my tools. i cant pick just one that i can live with out.

God times flys by. My dd is now 15 almost 16 months and getting so big. she talks all the time and is a joy to be with. Last night i was talking to Bobby and he was saying how big she is getting. Its true they do grow way to fast. She loves to kiss every one and share too. not normal things kids like to do. I am hopine she will stay that sweet. She loves to play with kids her own age and older. She knows signs like more, help, please, thank you, eat, milk, dad, mom, she tryes water wow where dose the time go.

I made a diaper cake and i think it turned out pretty good. and to my suprise it didnt take too long either. There was a ton of things in in. 57 huggies Diapers johnson baby soap, johnson shampoo, johnsons lotion, finger nail clipers, comb, 4 burb cloths, 6 wash cloths, a bottle, desaten, 3 toys and i am sure i am missing something.

Norway pasport

I have been working on a few swaps and one of them is a pasport for Epcot center. I picked Norway because of my grandpa Hans was born there. I knew nothing about the place but i liked what i have done so far. i paper piced a Norway flag and they look pretty good. sorry its backwarsd but i took the pic with my cam on my computer

i should be able to work on them more today we will see. i have a sick Husband and a very tired lil girl. Plus my best friend is here till today.

When i was in the town my neice lives in i asked if she wanted to come up since its summer she jumped on the idea. She is 10 and loves coming up to my house. so we went swimming yeasterday. She plays with haydn, and helps around the house. I am thinking of getting her a webkins tomarow when we are downtown. I told her to be super good and i would think about it. I am wanting to work on a few projects and wish i had more time to work on them. The joys of having a baby in the house. So my plans for the day is just have fun with the kids. we will see what we will get done today.

Every day i run across some very cool blogs and figured it was time to start on of my own. I have been doing a lot of swaps and wanted to start doing a lot more lay outs for my scrapbook and figured what a better way to share with people is a blog.
